Classroom mgmt. IDEA!!!  Kids put finished work in the RED bin.  Any assignments kids need are in the BLUE bin.  On the bellringer slide on the Smartboard is a little picture of the BLUE bin - kids know to make sure to pick it up.  Routines and daily procedures are easy ways to keep kids on track.

Soooo . . . I'm in a trailer this year - oh forgive me - a learning cottage - anywho I LUV IT!  It's so cozy and I can literally "reach out and touch someone" in a matter of seconds.  Pictures to come! 

I have great expectations for the new school year!  I've spent days decorating my "learning cottage" and it is cozy and inviting and will be even better with my students in it.  I can't wait to meet the new teachers who will be teaching at Haut Gap Middle School.  Our new faculty will be a mixture of newbies and veterans which means all of us will learn from each other.

Sooooo there's alot of talk, as usual around this time, about salaries not meeting the needs of teachers raising families.  What do you think?

Ok - so every time I'm looking for something specific online I end up on a million other sites with the coolest stuff I can use at school - so I favorite it and I pin it and I post it - but do I remember it when it comes time for a perfect time to use it ???  hmmmmm . . . NO!  any suggestions?

One of my students posted the subject quote on her facebook - and it's soooo true!  What happened to this week?  I began inputting the ton of contacts I made at HSTW conference during my presentations.  Soon I can start sending you guys cool stuff I find!
